PERFORMANCE TESTING

Physiological Performance Testing

Lactate Profile Test: Lactate threshold is considered by many to be one of the most important physiological markers in endurance sports. A lactate profile can distinguish your aerobic threshold, your anaerobic threshold, and provide you with definitive information for setting accurate heart rate and power zones that are unique to you. The Lactate Profile process involves a ramp test consisting of timed blocks. During each block, you’ll have a finger stick for a droplet of blood that will be applied to the testing media. Blocks will increase in intensity for each step of the ramp, and will continue until you reach a specific lactate value. This test isn’t as hard as an FTP test.

  • Total test time is 2 hours: 40-60 minutes of actual pedaling, a 30 minute review and analysis of your data, and 30 minutes for trainer set-up and clothing changes.

  • Cost : $149 ($109 for Point2Point Athletes)
